Orchid Apothecary was founded by Dr. Amanda Normand, an engineer with multiple degrees in mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering. After struggling with chronic pain and finding relief through reducing chemical exposure, she began creating her own all-natural alternatives.

Blending scientific expertise with a passion for this wellness journey, Dr. Normand handcrafts each product to be safe, effective, and free from synthetic ingredients without sacrificing quality — helping others live healthier, more natural lives.

At Orchid Apothecary, we believe in the beauty of natural, handcrafted products without all of the chemicals usually found in competing products—and as Director of Marketing, I get to share that story with the world.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and I love introducing people to our products and the benefits they'll get using them in their daily life. My job gives me the incredible opportunity to meet amazing people and to partner with them in bringing our line of premium products to market and making Orchid Apothecary's goodness available to their customers.

My experience with natural products began before I was even born. My mom began her journey to becoming a natural health professional while she was pregnant with me, and it’s never stopped. Growing up, I was always attending shows with my mom, and I have so many memories helping her set up, selling products with her and interacting with people. My passion for helping others was always there, especially in finding alternatives to harsh chemicals. 

When I moved to college, I struggled to find quality natural products that wouldn’t break the bank. I am so proud to be a part of Orchid Apothecary, because I’ve been able to find products that I feel good about using and they don’t break the bank. Most importantly, I’m so happy I have been able to be at events and work with others to find their perfect matches- it truly feels like I have come full circle 

Carmon has always believed that quality matters, and for years, she turned to high-end designer brands for her skincare. While those products worked, the price never felt quite right—but she told herself, you pay for what you get.

Then she found Orchid Apothecary, and everything changed. Here, premium skincare isn’t just a luxury—it’s accessible to everyone. The ingredients are better, the mission is stronger, and the products actually work—without the inflated price tag.

With years of experience as a CNA, Lori has cared for people from infants to the elderly, always tailoring her approach to meet their unique needs. She believes in helping others in an honest, compassionate, and realistic way, ensuring that wellness is accessible, practical, and truly beneficial.

Through experiential marketing, Lori brings Orchid Apothecary’s handcrafted, natural products directly to the people who need them, creating meaningful connections and introducing customers to better ways to care for themselves.
